Concept Design, Layout, Lighting Design, Interiors
Just two materials! Used wooden construction boards and black untreated metal sheets, along with the use of artificial light, function as key elements of the particular concept.
The lighting study of a studio that exclusively imports and sells lamps is challenging in nature. Lighting must be dominant but it should simultaneously leave space for the merchandise to play their part as well.
All@Light studio is a small, functional space. The central iron desk connects the lower level with the entrance level and forms the layout, while ensuring the circulation in space. Employees and customers cooperate in a friendlier and more relaxing way, without being separated by borders and private zones.
Every single surface - walls, ceiling and floor - is covered with wooden boards. Artificial light is a vital element for the wooden capsule, and emphasizes the rough, textured wood, thus creating a theatrical atmosphere. Built-in metal boxes in different sizes, used for storage, are self-illuminated with recessed linear light fixtures. Spot lights on the ceiling intensify the linear approach that was followed, and recessed lights on the floor create a vivid perimeter, which acts as a focal point from the busy street.
